Gardai are questioning a 48-year-old man in connection with the theft of up to €15,000 from the pub of an All-Ireland winning Tipperary hurler.

The theft happened in Lar Corbett's pub on August 29.

Following the incident, Mr Corbett offered a €5,000 reward for any information.

This appeal lead to the arrest of the Cork man in Cork City yesterday afternoon, he has now been transferred to Thurles Garda Station for questioning.
