Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic will be out for a further three weeks.

The Montengrin striker was one of the Sky Blues marquee signings this summer but has suffered an injury interrupted debut for the club.

Jovetic picked up another injury in the Capital One Cup win over Newcastle and it has been confirmed that he is out for three weeks.

The former Fiorentina forward has made just three league appearances and two League Cup appearances since his arrival.

However he did score twice against Wigan in a 5 - 0 win in the League Cup third round.
