Manchester City plan to expand the capacity of their Etihad Stadium to 60,000 seats.
The stadium which replcaed Maine Road as the Sky Blues' home ground currently holds 47,500.
The club have put the plans for redevelopment on public display and hope to make a formal planning application in December.
