Manchester City stayed in touch with a 2-0 win away to Arsenal in a game that saw both sides finish with 10 men.

James Milner and Edin Dzeko scored the City goals.

Dzeko also missed a penalty after he was hauled down by Laurent Koscielny in the box.

The Arsenal defender was sent off for the incident in the 9th minute.

City captain Vincent Kompany was also shown a straight red card for a two footed tackle on Jack Wilshere.

The result leaves City seven behind Man United who beat Liverpool 4 - 0 earlier in the day.
