Gareth Bale netted four times as Real Madrid made a mockery of Rayo Vallencao in a 10-2 thrashing at the Bernabeu this evening. 

The Welshman had completed his hat-trick just after the hour mark and scored a fourth before being withdrawn for Alvaro Arbeloa. Karim Benzema grabbed himself a second half hat-trick also. 

However, trouble began to brew when full back Tito was shown a red card after 15 minutes and Jose Raul Baena swiftly followed him to the dressing room on the half hour mark when he picked up a second yellow.
