Matthew Macklin's fight due for Dublin this month has been postponed after his trainer Jamie Moore was shot in the leg in Spain.

Macklin was set to face Jorge Sebastien Heiland at the National Stadium on August 30th in a WBC Middleweight title eliminator but says in light of the circumstances and the disruption to his preparation it is the right thing to do.
