Shane Lowry has moved to five under on the back nine of his third round of the BMW PGA Championship.

However the Offaly-man is still four shots off current outright leader Mark Foster, of England. Foster is on 9 under, through 13. England's Lee Westwood and the Spaniard Alejandro Canizares sit one back.

Paul McGinley and Darren Clarke are both already in the clubhouse on level par.

A third place finish for Lowry will guarantee a spot at the US Open.
