Shane Lowry has finished his third round at the BMW PGA Championship, at Wentworth, with a round of three under leaving him six under for the tournament. The Offaly man now sits just two shots off clubhouse leader Lee Westwood, who finished on eight under. Westwood is one shot clear of the chasing pack.

Paul McGinley and Darren Clarke were the other Irish in action, with both finishing on level par.

That puts the Offaly-man on 6 under, just two shots off clubhouse outright leader Lee Westwood.
