You might be heading out this weekend because you just got paid but just in case you aren't, you may be interested in what's on the television.

Don't worry, there is plenty on our screens over the weekend.

Here are our top picks:

1. The Late Late Show, Friday, RTE1, 9.35pm

A Friday night staple.

This week, we knew well in advance that Gabriel Byrne would be joining Ryan Tubridy for the Late Late Show but the couch is also going to welcome another two great Irish actors, Peter Coonan and Killian Scott.

Very exciting. Here's what it looked like last time out:

2. The Graham Norton Show, Friday, BBC1, 10.35pm

Could we be any more excited about the Graham Norton show tonight? Unlikely.

The Incredible Hulk, Mark Ruffalo, joins fellow Oscar-nominated star Jeremy Renner and actress and singer Elizabeth Olsen. Remember last time?

3. Tales from the Tour Bus - Rock'n'Roll on the Road, Friday, BBC4, 9pm

What happens on the road, stays on the road... Not for these guys.

Rick Wakeman offers a first-hand account of rockers on the road from the late 1950s onwards, recalling the golden age of touring - a secret history of transport cafes, transit vans, B&Bs, sleepless roadies and of loved ones left at home.

4. No Country for Old Men, Saturday, RTE2, 9pm

A master class in suspense, this Coen brothers classic is definitely one of the best from their back catalogue. Two words, Javier Bardem.

5. Up in the Air, Saturday, BBC2, 10.30pm

If you're looking for something that's a bit more of a drama and less about the tension, you might consider the heartwarming Clooney film, Up in the Air.

Clooney plays a corporate downsizing expert who finds his own job under threat.
