Dublin are Cadbury Leinster Under 21 football Champions for the 11th time overall and 4th time in 6 years following a 15 points to 10 win over Meath in last nights final.

Frustratingly for Meath they had the chances to win it kicking 8 wides in the first half and having a penalty saved.

Centre forward Bobby O’Brien impressed for the Royals kicking 3 points while Cormac Costello knocked over 5 for the Dubs 3 of which were from frees.

In the Ulster semi finals Cavan beat Monaghan 1-7 to 4 points while Donegal overcame Armagh 15 points to 10. The winners of Ulster will take on Dublin in the All Ireland semi final.

After last nights Leinster final I caught up with Dubs boss Dessie Farrell but first Meath manager Sean Barry.
