London’s moment in the spotlight is unravelling as Mayo have put the Exiles to the sword in the first half of the Connacht final in Castlebar.
James Horan’s side lead the underdogs by 2-6 to 0-5 after 35 minutes. In truth, were it not for poor finishing from last year’s All-Ireland finalists the deficit could be far greater.
The final few minutes of the half did offer some respite for Paul Coggins’s side, as they scored 3 unanswered points to reduce the gap from 10 points to 7.
The game is live on Newstalk Sport Sunday.
