At today's Ireland press briefing, the TV3 sports presenter was asking defender Alex Pearce about last night's car crash involving manager Martin O'Neill and assistant Roy Keane.

Amid the packed throng of journalists - and winger Robbie Brady - Tommy asked Pearce, "Would you like to rear end Roy Keane?" which naturally left the new Derby County signing bemused (as you'll hear below) and those around the scene in stitches. 

Tommy, who has taken it all in good spirits, tweeting "a career high point", will be having a laugh about his slip of the tongue with us on Off The Ball tonight just after 7pm:
