Tipperary face Dublin in the Eirgrid All Ireland semi final on Saturday week following last night's dramatic one point win over Cork in the Munster u21 football final.

Ian Fahey's goal and Kevin O'Halloran's six points - five of which were from frees - made the difference.

Tipp held a 6 point lead in the first half, but a late rally including a Peter Kelleher goal from a goalkeeping mistake closed the gap to just one point at the break.

It looked like the Rebels would drive on for a fifth provincial title in row when Kellegher got his second goal within 14 seconds of the restart.

The hosts rallied though and saw out a tit-for-tat second half which included an Ian Fahey goal and two well taken points from Captain Colin O’Riordan.

After the game Oisin Langan caught up with the goal scorer Fahey, as well as Colin O’Riordan , Cork manager Sean Hayes and Tipp's free taker Kevin O’Halloran.
