The Lions have been beaten 14 - 12 by the Brumbies in Canberra.

It is the first loss for Warren Gatland's tourists on this year's tour.

Tevita Kuridrani waltzed through the patched-up Lions back line to touch down just five minutes into the first half.

Jesse Mogg added three penalties for the Australians while Stuart Hogg kicked three for the Lions, and Owen Farrell one.

It was their final warm-up match before Saturday's first test against the Wallabies.

The tourists did not give Gatland much to worry about in terms of selection for that.

Rob Kearney, on his first start of the tour, and Toby Faletau did most to impress.
