Limerick senior football manager Maurice Horan has stepped down from his position.
The Limerick Post had reported that he would be leaving the inter-county setup and Horan confirmed the news in a statement.
The Mayo native took over in 2011 but saw this year's disappointing campaign end with defeat to Longford in the qualifiers.

It had started promisingly for Horan as he took Limerick to their maiden All Ireland quarter final in 2011 and won Division 4 earlier this year.
