Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman have become the latest stars to join the cast of comedy sequel Ted 2. 

The film's director Seth McFarlane confirmed the casting news on Twitter yesterday:

Yesterday Liam Neeson, today Morgan Freeman. Not a bad week for #Ted2.

Although there are no details yet on Neeson's role, Freeman is reported to be playing a character who is a veteran civil rights lawyer.

The pair join the returning Mark Wahlberg, new addition Amanda Seyfried and of course Seth McFarlane himself reprising his voice role as the talking teddy bear Ted.
