Cian Healy returns to the front row to make his 125th provincial start, while Brian O'Driscoll has shaken off a knock to start alongside Gordon D'Arcy at centre.
Head coach Matt O'Connor, who spoke to Off The Ball about the match last night, has also chosen Jimmy Gopperth ahead of Ian Madigan at fly-half. Scrum half Eoin Reddan will partner the New Zealander.
Rhys Ruddock replaces Kevin McLaughlin at flanker, while Luke Fitzgerald does not make the 23 man squad which travels to France.
