The Leinster pair of Jamie Heaslip and Ian Madigan have both been long-listed for the European Player of the Year award.
Both Ireland internationals are on the 15-man list for the award, which will be whittled to a five-man shortlist following the semi-finals of the European Champions Cup.
Describing Heaslip as "the ultimate leader by example", highlighting the 83 carries he made during the year, while they said Madigan "may not yet be the finished article, but some of his attacking play this season has been sensational".
