Leicester City have completed the signing of veteran goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer from Chelsea on a free transfer.

The Australian has agreed a contract until the end of next season by which time the ex-Fulham and Middlesbrough stopper will be 44.

Leicester's No 1 Kasper Schmeichel is currently out injured with deputy Ben Hamer filling in.

The deal also means current Chelsea second choice Petr Cech is unlikely to leave Stamford Bridge this month.
