Former Everton striker Landon Donovan has announced he will retire at the end of the American Major League Soccer season.
The 32-year-old made 156 appearances for the USA, scoring 57 goals.
But he was dropped from the final 23-man squad by USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann ahead of this summer's World Cup.

Donovan had two spells on loan at Everton, making a combined total of 22 appearances and scoring two goals, while he also played in the Bundesliga during his career.
