Harry Kane may have scored a hat-trick for Tottenham, but it was Erik Lamela who stole the limelight as Spurs thrashed Asteras Tripolis at White Hart Lane.
Kane got the Europa League match off to a good start for Tottenham with a precise finish from 22 yards on 13 minutes.
Lamela then doubled that lead in sensational fashion with a rabona from the edge of the box.
His second goal of the came after the break with a well-taken angled volley, before Kane rounded off the victory with two more goals.
There was one blot on the copybook as Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris was shown a red card for charging out of his box and fouling an opponent.
Kane went in goals but the striker fumbled Jeronimo Barrales's free-kick into his net.
Celtic 2 - 1 Astra Giurgiu
Celtic's narrow win was marked by three goals in the final 20 minutes.
Stefan Scepovic opened the scoring for the Hoops when he headed in Anthony Stokes's free-kick, before Stefan Johansen doubled that lead struck a second on 79 minutes.
Gabriel Enache bundled in a goal for Astra but Celtic held on for the win.
Everton played out a scoreless draw with Lille in France in the earlier game.
