Southamtpon striker Rickie Lambert has been called up to the England squad for next week's friendly against Scotland.

The uncapped 31-year-old found the net 15 times last season for the Saints.

Wayne Rooney is included despite the fact that he is recovering from an injury as he tries to leave Manchester United.

His new club team-mate Wilfried Zaha has also been called up by Roy Hodgson.
