Petra Kvitova has won the Wimbledon Women’s Singles title with one of the most one sided finals in recent memory. Kvitova won her second Wimbledon title in straight sets, and just 54 minutes.
Eugenie Bouchard had no answer for the 2011 winner, losing by a score of 6-3, 6-0.
The victory was a phenomenal performance from Kvitova, although it did not make for exceptional viewing for the neutral. In total it took just under two hours less than the French Open final between Maria Sharapova and Simona Halep, earlier this year.
