Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali has claimed that former Formula 1 driver Robert Kubica will never return to the sport.
The Polish driver suffered serious injuries in a rally crash in 2011. The former BMW Sauber and Renault driver has limited movement in his right arm.
Although he has stressed that he will be capable of returning to F1 in the future, the 28-year-old admits the condition of his arm means he cannot participate on every circuit on the calendar.
But Domenicali has poured cold water on any return for one of the most talented drivers in the sport at the time of his accident:
"We were keeping an eye on him. Unfortunately I don't think he will be back. With his physical problem, he would struggle in certain situations which require reactivity. It's a shame."
