Kildare manager Kieran Mc Geeney has named a young side to face Offaly tomorrow in their Leinster Championship opener at Croke Park. Daryl Flynn partners under 21 Leinster championship winner Daniel Flynn in midfield, with Flynn’s fellow Leinster champions Paul Cirbbin and Niall Kelly in the half forward line, and Paddy Brophy at corner forward. Mark Donellan,the under 21 goalkeeper, also starts.
The full forward line’s experience levels are bulked up with the presence of John Doyle and Thomas O’Connor, while captain Eamon O’Callaghan is at centre back.
