The Kildare footballers lead Offaly by 10 points to 7 at half time in their Leinster quarter final at Croke Park.
Later Leinster champions Dublin will hope to take their league form into the championship.
Jim Gavin's side will take on Westmeath at 7pm in the second game at headquarters.
