Former Donegal forward Kevin Cassidy is enjoying the fact that his countymen are far more predictable as they head towards Sunday's Ulster final.

Ahead of the match against Monaghan, Newstalk's Oisin Langan asked Cassidy about the changes Donegal manager Rory Gallagher has made and one aspect stands out.

"[I like] the way they can change things about. I don't think they're as predictable anymore. Yes, they're going to be defensive but I think Rory Gallagher has given more freedom," he said.

"I don't the long ball worked against Derry and it possibly mightn't work against Monaghan. But at least it's in the locker down the line to change things. People don't know if Michael Murphy is going to be in midfield, centre-forward or centre-back. Likewise with Neil Gallagher. He may start full-forward. That's a big plus for us."
