Kerry take on Dublin in the opening Allianz League Division 1 match of 2014 and Wooly caught up with the Kingdom's Donnacha Walsh at the league launch at Croke Park.

Wooly asked the two-time All Ireland winner whether manager Eamon Fitzmaurice had made major changes since last year's semi-final defeat against Saturday's opponents.

"There's nothing new. There were big changes this time last year under the new management. There was a different training regime between weights and field sessions so the transition into this year has been a lot smoother. We're still trying to play our kicking game and using our skillset as much as possible," said the 29-year-old who felt that the changes impacted on their form in last year's Allianz League. He also suggested that Dublin's greater strength in depth contributed to last year's All Ireland semi-final loss.

As for this year's league, Kerry are targeting a semi-final as "the more competitive games you get towards the end of the league all goes well for Championship preparation."
