Kerry have won the Munster SFC with a 2 point win over Cork. Kerry led by 7 at half-time but in the end the gap had been significantly reduced and the final score was 1-16 to 0-17 in favour of the Kingdom.
Kerry’s dominant hold on the game faded in the second half and they allowed Cork to score 6 unanswered, to move the score from 1-14 to 0-8 to 1-14 to 0-14.
Late points from Bryan Sheehan and Peter Crowley were enough to settle Kerry nerves and guide Eamonn Fitzmaurice and his side over the line.
