Highlights packages of yesterday's Ireland v England friendly may find a second wind as a useful insomnia cure in future, but there were plenty of positives for Martin O'Neill according to Keith Andrews.
The former Boys in Green midfielder told Off The Ball that there were some good points to draw upon ahead of Saturday's crucial Euro 2016 qualifier.
"I thought it was a good afternoon for us. I thought defensively we were magnificent. We restricted them to very few chances. I thought the compactness was good - granted their front players and final third play wasn't as good as we see when they play for their Premier League teams. But I thought it was a very resolute disciplined performance."
Andrews, who also praised Aiden McGeady's tracking back, expects O'Neill to field a lopsided 4-4-2 against Scotland.
