Rob Kearney believes the performance of his Leinster team-mates against Clermont Auvergne on Sunday will give them a boost going in to this weekend’s home Heineken Cup tie with the French side.

Speaking with Newstalk Breakfast’s Oisin Langan, Kearney said, “We had our chances, it was a game we could have won, we let some opportunities slip away but I think the boys will take a huge amount of courage going in to the game this week.”

Kearney was speaking at the draw for the Leinster Schools Cup at the Aviva stadium and also spoke with Oisin Langan about his return from injury, the need to treat injury with a positive attitude and how he believes his Leinster teammates can get the win on Saturday.
