Katie Taylor has advanced to the semi-finals at this week's EU Championships in Hungary.

The London Olympic gold medal winner began her bid for a fifth successive title stopped Hungary's Benke Sara in the fourth round after forcing her opponent into standing counts in the second and third rounds.

Taylor will now meet either Mira Potkonen of Finland or Bulgaria's Svetlana Stavena in the last-four on Friday.

Meanwhile, Dervla Duffy lost out at the quarter-final stage of the bantamweight division to France’s Delphine Mancini.
