Mullingar's John Joe Nevin will make his professional career debut this evening.

The Olympic silver medallist takes on Albert Candalaria of Puerto Rica at the House of Blues in Boston in a six-round bout.

The featherweight who brought the Mullingar Shuffle to a wider audience at London 2012, made his decision to enter the professional ranks back in October.
