This week, former Manchester United defender and Busby Babe Bill Foulkes passed away aged 81.
John Giles was on Thursday Night Football on Off The Ball and he shared his memories of his former Man United team-mate.
While acknowledging that Foulkes was a great player, he revealed that his Manchester United team-mates were not overly fond of him at the time.
"Bill was an established player when I went to Old Trafford. He was one of the original Busby Babes. He wouldn't have been the most popular guy. The players used to call him "Popular Bill". He was a good, solid hard defender but he wouldn't have been a popular guy off the pitch," Giles revealed.
"When I was a young fella, you'd be walking down the corridor at Old Trafford and Bill would walk in the middle of the corridor as if you weren't there. You had to squeeze against the wall to let him pass and even then, you might get a knock off him. He wasn't flash but he'd do nasty things. When I was in the first team, we used to play headers on a Friday morning after training. I was fairly good at the head tennis and Bill used to grab me and say 'don't forget, you're playing with me this morning'. Lads didn't like rooming with him."
Giles also looked ahead to our live Premier League game on Off The Ball between Manchester United and Tottenham this Sunday.
He believes that Spurs boss Andre Villas Boas is in a "precarious" position and fancy's Man United to come away from White Hart Lane with a win.
He also explained why he believes Wayne Rooney should be fielded in midfield in order for Shinji Kagawa to be able to play in his natural position.
