Manchester City are on the verge of completing the transfer of Spain winger Jesus Navas from Sevilla.
The Sevilla native and youth graduate is set to finalize a €20 million to the Etihad.
The move would not have been possible a few years ago when Navas struggled with chronic homesickness which meant he was unable to play for his country and often did not travel to away matches for his club.
But since the 27-year-old got treatment, he has been part of Spain's 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012 squad, often coming on as an impact substitute.
At club level, the speedy winger has made almost 300 appearances for Sevilla over the past decade, winning two UEFA Cups and two Spanish Cups for his hometown team.
