Kildare manager Jason Ryan is hopeful that the qualifier experience of some of his panel can help carry them through to the All-Ireland series.
They fell to a heavy defeat to Dublin at Croke Park in the Leinster championship semi-final yesterday, but face Offaly in Tullamore at the start of their back door route.
"Those players know what it takes because they've been there and lost the games in the past and they've come through the qualifiers," Ryan told Off The Ball's Dave McIntyre.
"You've got a few players who have gone as far as All-Ireland quarter-finals and one All-Ireland semi-final through the qualifiers, so we'll embrace the challenge and we're looking forward to training during the week and getting back at it."
