Japan have become the first team to reach the 2014 World Cup through the qualifying stage.
A ninetieth minute penalty from CSKA Moscow's Keisuke Honda secured a 1-1 draw with Australia.
They join hosts Brazil as the only two teams, so far, confirmed to be at the tournament.

The 2014 World Cup will be the Blue Samurai's fifth consecutive World Cup. They reached the last-16 in South Africa three years ago only to lose on penalties to Paraguay.
As Asian champions they will also play in the upcoming Confederations Cup tournament where they are grouped with Mexico, Italy and hosts Brazil.
