In the Men's championship, France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has been knocked out by Ivo Karlovic after the latter took all his three sets on tie-breaks.

Earlier, Roger Federer needed a fourth set to put Australia's Sam Groth away on centre court to progress to the fourth round and Sabine Lisicki was knocked out by Timea Bacsinszky.
