Ireland and Leinster star Jamie Heaslip will be among the sporting speakers at the 2013 Dublin Web Summit.

Heaslip will be discussing the intersection between sport and technology at the event which will be attended by 10,000 people at RDS Simmonscourt.

Heaslip has developed many entrepreneurial interests outside of his rugby career, most notably in tech and in his investment in a Dublin restaurant.

Other sport stars such as skateboarding legend Tony Hawk will attending this year’s event on October 30th and 31st.

The Web Summit is Europe’s largest festival of ideas and events and has been dubbed “Davos for geeks.”
