Life after Gary Neville has begun as Monday Night Football welcomed a new pundit to the team in the form of Craig Bellamy. 

In order to make him feel at home straight from the get go, Jamie Carragher gave him the type of welcome he may well be used to from his days in football dressing rooms: a slagging. 

As he was being introduced, Carragher stated that they managed to find "the only man who was more unpopular than Gary Neville". Bellamy took it in good grace, and the pair got down to the business of analysing the weekend's football. 

The former Liverpool team-mates took a look at how Stoke went about beating Manchester City on the weekend and the job that Mark Hughes has been doing at the Britannia.

As one of his former managers, Bellamy had plenty of good things to say about Hughes, taking a closer look at the record that he has had in charge Premier League teams and why he perhaps doesn't get the plaudits that other managers do.  

Next Monday, Frank Lampard will join the team as they look to bring in a different guest every week to the panel.
