Kerry's James O'Donoghue has been named as the 2014 Footballer of the Year.

The Kingdom forward was outstanding for Eamon Fitzmaurice's side throughout the season as he helped them to overcome the injury to Colm Cooper and regain the All Ireland title.

Donegal's Ryan McHugh has been unveiled as the Young Footballer of the Year at this year's ceremony.
