After success with the England U21s already since the end of the season, Jack Grealish is set for a move that would keep him in the Premier League.

The former Ireland underage star is likely to be a top target for a number of clubs in the top tier, with Mark Hughes' Stoke City currently leading the race for his signature.

According to a report in The Telegraph, Aston Villa face a battle to keep Grealish, with Hughes pinpointing him as a replacement for the injured Ibrahim Afellay, who is likely to miss a prolonged period of action thanks to a knee ligament injury.

Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be interested in the player, who scored twice at the Toulon Tournament as England claimed glory, eventually overcoming France in the final.

Grealish had a torrid time in the Premier League last season, ending up on the losing side in all 16 games in which he appeared, as well as a public falling out with manager Remi Garde.
