Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.

The midfielder has left the team he supported as a boy to return to the Premier League, saying he has "unfinished business" in England.

Fabregas confirmed his old club Arsenal had the first option to sign him, but decided against it.

The Spain international will wear the No 4 shirt and the 27-year-old has signed a five-year deal with Jose Mourinho's side.
