Tiger Woods recorded his worst Open score on Day One of the tournament at St Andrew's.

The former World No 1 and 14-time Major winner ended on 4-over par, having put his ball into the Swilcan Burn river on the very first hole.

American Dustin Johnson remains the clubhouse leader on 7-under par.
