Ballyhale Shamrocks are once again the AIB GAA All-Ireland Club Hurling champions after their comprehensive 1-18 to 1-6 over Kilmallock at Croke Park this afternoon.

Colin Fennelly got the goal for the Kilkenny kingpins, who led by six points - 1-7 to 0-4 - at the interval.

TJ Reid amassed six points for Shamrocks, while Fennelly finished with haul of 1-3.

Robbie Hanley goaled for the Shannonsiders after 55 minutes, at which stage they trailed by 14 points.

The triumph was Ballyhale's sixth in all, and, incredibly, Henry Shefflin's 13th All-Ireland.
