A football team have been thrown out of Italy's third division after their players faked injury.

Nocerina made three substitutions while five players went off injured in a November derby against Salernitana that was called off after just 21 minutes.

Players were reluctant to take to the field after receiving death threats from some of their own fans, after a number of supporters were banned from attending the match.
