As the crisis in FIFA continues this morning, Ivan Yates spoke to investigative journalist Andrew Jennings about Sepp Blatter's intention to resign as FIFA President.

Jennings, who has written "Foul: The Secret World of FIFA" and "Omerta: Sepp Blatter's FIFA Organised Crime Family" and has been an advocate of change in FIFA for many years.

Blatter's resignation comes as overnight reports state that the Swiss may be implicated in the scandal the has rocked the organisation in the past seven days.

The future of FIFA is dependant, is changing the structure of the organisation. Jennings claims that the individuals that may be involved in the future running of FIFA are irrelevant and the restructuring the governing body must take precedence.

Interestingly, Jennings claims the Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 World Cups will not take place in those locations.

The Russians cannot afford to host the tournament according to Jennings, due to the drop in oil prices and he feels leagues around the World will not stop their seasons to accommodate a winter World Cup in Qatar.
