Brazil's World Cup preparations have been a bit of a double-edged sword.
Off the pitch, stadium problems, protests and Pele's reaction to them have marred the build up to the first World Cup on Brazilian soil since 1950.
On the other hand, there is a lot of optimism surrounding the Seleção's chances on the pitch after they romped to the Confederations Cup title and a series of friendly wins.
Yet this team is very un-Brazilian in its style of play with Luiz Felipe Scolari bringing in a high pressing game which seems to be paying off for now.
But what happens if Neymar and co flop this summer? Will an already agitated Brazilian public's anger explode?
We got the word from the street from Belo Horizonte-based Ewan MacKenna who was 2012 Sports Writer of Year.
