While ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ is still a long way off its December 2015 release, the movie rumour mill is already churning out theories on how the franchise is set to expand – including a separate spin-off film.

Last month, reports surfaced that the Gareth Edwards movie, set for a December 2016 release, would be an intergalactic heist caper. But now Making Star Wars, a website that has previously released verified set photos from the production of ‘The Force Awakens’, is saying that the movie will be a solo adventure for Harrison Ford’s character Han – though it is unclear what age Solo will to be in the film.

The Making Star Wars post does state that there is no direct confirmation that ‘Breaking Bad’ actor Aaron Paul will be playing a young Han Solo, but he is rumoured to be attached to the production.

The actor recently fulfilled a childhood dream to play Luke Skywalker in a live table-reading of the script to ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ organised by American director Jason Reitman. ‘Juno’ actress Ellen Page took on the role of Han Solo, while Jessica Alba was Princess Leia.
