The final day of the Irish Open at Carton House is underway, but there appears little chance of an Irish intrusion on the battle at the summit of the leader board.

Peter Lawrie is the best placed Irish player, but his 6 under is 7 behind the leader Joost Luiten, of the Netherlands. Shane Lowry dropped two shots yesterday and now sits 8 off the top on 5 under, alongside Alan Dunbar and Gareth Shaw.

Paul Casey and Jose Maria Olazabal are the most recognisable names in the top 10, on 9 under and 8 under, respectively.

Luiten is closely trailed by the Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal on 12 under, while England’s Robert Rock is in third on 10 under par.

Lowry gets his final round underway within the hour, while Lawrie will tee off shortly before noon. Luiten and Larrazabal tee off at 1.15.

Newstalk Sport Sunday comes live from Carton House today, as we finish up our weekend at the Irish Open with more interviews with the big names at this weekend's tournament and in depth coverage of all the action.
